August 8: A Letter From My Future Self

August 8 — A Letter From My Future Self

Pretend you're 42 writing back to today's you. Tell yourself how everything unfolded.

Dear Almost-32-year-old Farah,

First things first: IT ALL WORKS OUT.

You achieved all your dreams.
You have an amazing family.
You've built a real home.
You still feel young.
You're rediscovering yourself.
All your fears are just that: fears. Not one of them came true.
In fact, you did live happily ever after (right up until now).

Keep documenting your feelings and your life on your platforms, because you will cherish them at this age.
You will thank God every day for every closed door, every reroute, every heartbreak, because it all led you to where you are now: the happiest, most fulfilled, safest, most accomplished you've ever been.

It will all make sense.

Keep going, and keep trusting God at every corner.
Push through the hardships.
Enjoy every moment.
Keep building memories.
Don't let anxiety or stress or fear rob you of your joy.

IT ALL WORKS OUT.

With love,
Farah
