Dear Farah,
You've lived a long rich life so far, ilhemdila! Rich in love, rich in experiences, rich in lessons, rich in diversity. You've survived so much, seen so much, and yet you were able to not only make it but build the life you dreamed about. You've always known you would, because you know God is here and has always been there, saving you time after time. What you didn't know was how good it will get, better than you could have conjured for yourself! What you didn't realize was that you'll be grateful for every setback, every heartbreak, every closed door. It will all make sense.
You will not only feel so loved, but worthy of it! You have invested so much into your personal growth and it has paid off in ways you can never even imagine!
Now life is never a steady plateau. One day you're on top of the world (today as I'm writing this you definitely are), the next you struggle to get out of bed. What you need to remember is keep getting out of bed. Keep trying. It does not matter how things seem. It may seem like all the walls are closing in, like everything is crashing down, and then one phone call out of left field, or a certain turn of events, and everything is even better than it started! Rely on your faith, on your unwavering belief that God loves you and everything from God is good. Be patient. Keep practicing gratitude, keep making your life whimsical, keep pouring love into those around you. Stay true to yourself and maintain your boundaries. Keep working hard. Keep reflecting. Stay humble. Help people whenever you can. Nourish your heart & soul.
Don't underestimate yourself. Don't let worry steal your joy. Don't let people disrespect you. Don't get full of yourself. Don't forget who you are. Don't be mean to yourself. Never question your worth. Never stop your pursuit of being a good person.
Do everything for God.
Your next chapter will be even dreamier. The best is yet to come!
